Fire Damaged Drives
A large global company of Surveyors, Consultants and
Analysts sent in 2 drives that had been in a fire. Our
engineers examined the drives in the clean room and
repaired the internal damage caused by the fire and
performed a 100% recovery on both drives within a matter
of 2 days.
Encrypted Failed Drive
A global 100 company had a senior manager’s laptop
fail while he was travelling on business. Having been
on the road for several weeks he did not have an opportunity
to backup his information and when the drive failed
he called us to recover a wide range of critical documents.
As well, the laptop contained encryption software that
had not been renewed. We made contact with the encryption
supplier to work out a one time deal for access and
recovered the executive’s critical data in time
for his next trip abroad.
Software Related Failed Drive
A private individual had her MAC fail. She ran a home
business developing images and sound for the advertising
business and needed these important files recovered
and as soon as possible since her business would suffer
otherwise. She also told us that she had a wide range
of family photos on the drive that were irreplaceable.
After determining the drive did not suffer any mechanical
failure and was a software related problem, our engineers
recovered all of her important files and returned them
within hours.
Drive is not recognised by the BIOS
A University sent in a drive that would not boot from
any machine. The information on the drive contained
critical University papers. The drive turned out to
have a system track failure where the microcode used
by the manufacturer had become damaged or corrupted.
Our engineers managed to overcome the failure using
our high level proprietary tools and successfully recover
100% of the data.
Internal Physical Damage
A major, prestigious car manufacturer sent in a drive
that they believed had some critical information pertaining
to an integral part of their manufacturing facility.
The drive had suffered from internal physical failure.
Our engineers examined the drive in our Class 100 clean
room and managed to get an image. The directory listing
showed that the critical information was present and
our engineers quickly recovered the information. The
recovery saved a job for a major client from being delayed
and saved the company millions of pounds in lost production
time.
Deleted Files
A well known publisher of a men's lifestyle magazine
sent in a drive where over 2000 photo files had been
accidentally deleted. Using our sophisticated tools
that can recover from deleted files, we managed to recover
all of the deleted photos on the same day. The customer
managed to meet their publishing deadline for that month’s
issue of the magazine. |
